Reminder: if you're too busy to read us, the GameDiscoverCo Show is for you!

This is a rare ‘non-Tuesday or Friday’ newsletter from GameDiscoverCo, with one simple goal. We sometimes hear from people who say: “I ain’t reading all that. I’m happy for u tho. Or sorry that happened” re: our newsletters. (Yes, we know they’re long - but there’s a lot going on…)

Anyhow, it occurred to us that some of those people - GDCo subscribers who don’t have full bandwidth for our newsletter - might not know that we have a new weekly pod/vodcast, The GameDiscoverCo Show. And we’re 5 episodes in now, so it’s a great time to get on board:

Briefly: every ~40 minute long episode has myself (Simon) and Polygon co-founder &Post Games’ Chris Plante talking about game discovery goodness. We keep things snappy and structured: discussing three platform/discovery news stories, one ‘main’ story, this week/next week’s big releases, and a special surprise question.

We actually delve further into news story analysis than the newsletter does. So there’s new analysis here for regular GDCo readers. But it’s also a good way to get a pulse of what’s going on from GDCo if, say, you have ‘commute to work’ or ‘work out’ audio/video time, but no more reading time. (Curse you, time-consuming words…)

So yep, you can sub to the podcast via Apple Podcasts, Spotify & elsewhere (audio, RSS), witha video version weekly on YouTube (below):

We’ll keep running weekly links to the latest GDCo Show episode at the bottom of our regular Tuesday newsletter, also. But this is your one-time reminder that The GameDiscoverCo Show does, and will exist.. please use it as you see fit.

[We’re GameDiscoverCo, an analysis firm based around one simple issue: how do players find, buy and enjoy your PC or console game? We run the newsletter you’re reading, and provide real-time data services for publishers, funds, and other smart game industry folks.]
