Roblox users have made a playable version of Counter-Strike and full, working

Multiple remakes of beloved games including Counter Strike, The Simpsons: Hit and Run, and Super Hot, are available to play on Roblox right now. These have not been uploaded by the original game's creators.

One game - which is listed as an 'experience' in Roblox parlance, has been released by Roblox user Takeoff Interactive and listed as 'just a passion project', is a game "inspired by Counter-Strike" and has no monetisation according to its description. Eurogamer played this game today, and it looks and plays exactly like Counter-Strike.

The game includes the standard bomb diffusion mode, where two teams fight over two bomb sites. There are missing sound effects, the smoke doesn't look as good, and a friendly bot stabbed me in the back while diffusing a bomb, but otherwise it looks to be a largely identical recreation of Valve's game, albeit without Valve's involvement.

As for the PlayStation Experience, it's a full working PlayStation 4 dashboard with a media gallery, web browser, and trophies. There's even a server-based chat feature, in which Roblox players can talk to each other. The dashboard includes seven playable games - most of which are indie games. These include: The Simpsons Hit and Run, Cluster Truck, Superhot, Gang Beasts, Five Nights at Freddy's, Undertale, and PaRappaTheRapper.

Eurogamer played The Simpsons Hit and Run, and likewise found it to be a largely identical recreation of Activision's game. Players can drive around Springfield and cause mayhem much like the original game, albeit with a slightly dodgy objective guidance arrow.

Eurogamer also played Superhot, which once again looks and plays much like the original game, though it's not quite as visually impressive. This version of Superhot, Simpsons Hit and Run, and the PlayStation Experience as a whole was uploaded to Roblox by user Redwing Works, not Activision, not the Superhot team, and not Sony.

It is worth noting these are not Roblox games that are merely inspired by popular releases outside its ecosystem. Previously, a few popular Roblox games inspired by the game but not openly copying it exist. Counter Blox, for example, is a tactical FPS which uses Roblox assets and models, while Arsenal is another FPS inspired by Counter-Strike's Gun Game mode in which each kill progresses you to different weapons.

This is not the first time a popular game has been recreated on Roblox without the permission of its creators. The Peak developers urged people to pirate their game rather than play a "microtransaction-riddled ripoff slop" on Roblox.
