Publishers Gravity and Daewon Media Game Lab, along with developer Waycoder, have released a new trailer for the upcoming single-player tactical RPG Ragnarok Console Project.
In this title, players follow a retired knight and their companions as they investigate a reality on the verge of collapse. Combat revolves around an Action Point (AP) system. Movement, attacks, and skills all cost AP. Positioning also matters, as the distance between characters, terrain, and ally placement can affect how encounters play out.
Missions feature objectives beyond defeating every enemy. Some battles require players to escape areas, reach specific locations, or destroy designated objects.
The story takes place in a new interpretation of the Ragnarok setting. Although it draws from the established franchise, the game introduces its own cast and narrative.
Ragnarok Console Project will be released in the first half of 2027 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via Steam.
