Project ZETA kicks off another open test this weekend with two new heroes

Over the past couple of months we’ve been keeping tabs on Project ZETA, the developing team vs. team “tactical arena” from Krafton and Nirvanana Studio. If you happened to have missed out on the last time the game held an open test, then you’re in luck because a new one is now underway, running from today, September 4th, through Monday, September 7th.

As one might expect from a still-gestating game, this new test has some updates, lead by the addition of two new characters: Nova Crash, a Warrior class robot brawler who appears to really like punching things; and Azrakel, an Assassin who (perhaps unsurprisingly) uses teleportation and phase shifting to maneuver around and through foes and has an ultimate ability to execute low-health targets.

Additional tentpole features for this latest test build fall on the gameplay and mechanics side of things, with a new rating system to make matchmaking more balanced, a bounty system that can help teams that fall behind early catch up, more prism boss and monster spawns, redesigned kill rewards for specific PvE targets, and some redesigning of the arena itself. More details are outlined on the site, or you could just hop in yourself via the Steam page.
